We allow plenty of time for your furry friend to become comfortable with us and to “just be a dog!” We love a good challenge. Rest assured that we’ll capture the magic that hides within your pup. If for whatever reason we can’t capture any images, we won’t charge you. It’s that simple! We’re laid back and want the experience to be as stress-free as possible for all parties.

We live in Muskoka, Ontario, Canada and often host our photography sessions at our cottage in Baysville and the surrounding areas of Muskoka/Algonquin Park. We’re also international travellers and can travel to you! We’re happy to discuss shooting locations during our discovery call as we love capturing pets in new landscapes around the world.

Our shoots vary in duration due to the distance between locations and the cooperation of your dog. We only book one session per day to ensure we are not rushed and can focus on crafting compelling images of your dog that tell a story. The benefit of working with ‘Follow Me North Pets’ is that we’re a duo! We shoot with different lenses and shoot from difference angles, which provides you with a great amount of variety in compositions, backgrounds and expressions. On average, each photo session ranges between 30-60 minutes.

During your consultation, we’ll discuss all of your options and pricing.

Absolutely! Most leashes/collars can be removed in Photoshop. We can utilize a long lead during our sessions to capture action shots without compromising the safety of your pet. Your pet’s safety is our top priority! We will only allow a pet to be off-leash if the owners are 200% confident in the pet’s ability to follow common commands and not run off. There are certain situations where even the most obedient pet would need to remain on a leash for safety - for example, shooting in a city centre around oncoming strangers or close to traffic.

We encourage you and your family to jump into the frame for a few images with your pet! Our pets are family, too and it’s important to capture these bonds in the same way we capture our immediate family. We can go over your unique needs ahead of your scheduled shoot to ensure we don’t miss any of your dream shots.
